The campaign was created by the advertising agency Leo Burnett and was aimed at promoting the fast-food chain’s late-night hours. However, during the 2014 Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple senior VP Craig Federighi introduced OS X Yosemite with a new video.In 1987, McDonald’s launched a new advertising campaign featuring a character named Mac Tonight. Since July 2011, introductory videos were removed from Mac OS X Lion onwards.
